A daily productivity log, on paper or online
A daily productivity log is a short note of the day. It is not a diary and it is not a performance score. Copy these columns onto paper if you want a week of practice.
Columns
- Date.
- Start and finish.
- Meetings and breaks.
- The main apps or sites.
- What moved forward.
- The first thing to do tomorrow.
Paper and an online record
A printable sheet depends on what you remember at the end of the day. Mycroscope fills the time, app and website columns after each person acknowledges the monitoring notice. The line about what moved still belongs in your own words, or in the task tool you already use. Mycroscope does not write that sentence and it does not assign the task.
Use paper to learn the habit. Use the online record when a team should not retype the day.
