How to read the green, amber and red charts
On Workforce Management and Productivity Optimization, Mycroscope can compare productive time with a daily goal. The colour is that comparison. It is not a judgement of the person.
What “productive” includes
The hours are computer time in apps and websites the company has classed as productive, plus time away from the computer that was given a reason the company also counts as productive, such as a meeting. Breaks and unexplained time are left out. A day is counted when there was computer activity or productive time away.
The colours
- Green means the person’s productive time per day worked is inside the goal band.
- Amber means it is under the goal.
- Red means it is over the goal.
Someone with no goal is not given a colour. Someone with no activity in the period is listed as not scored. The same charts can be included in the PDF written report on Productivity Optimization.
If the chart will not load
The report has to be included in the plan, and the dates have to fall inside the history the account keeps. A Free account does not show these charts. A paid account that still has a short retention setting will refuse a period that starts too far back.
